Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Planka (package com.anber.planka) accesses, uses, stores and shares information when you use the Android application. Planka is a fitness application for planning and completing plank workouts. You may use the core workout features without signing in.
1. Information stored on your device
Planka stores workout plans, plan days, workout sessions, completion dates and times, plank types, work/rest durations, sets, maximum hold time and related progress information in the app's private storage. It also stores app settings such as language, reminders, voice guidance, vibration, onboarding state, advertising state, rating/feedback prompt state and level-test results. Android may include the app database and certain app preferences in Android backup or device-transfer features according to your device and Google account settings.
2. Google sign-in and cloud synchronization
Google sign-in is optional. If you sign in, Google and Firebase Authentication may provide Planka with your Firebase user ID, display name, email address and profile-photo URL. Planka uses this information to show your profile and identify your cloud record. Planka never receives your Google password. When you choose to synchronize progress, Planka uploads supported fitness/activity data to Google Cloud Firestore under your Firebase user ID, including the current training plan, plan dates and status, exercise type, work/rest duration, sets, workout completion timestamps, completed sets and maximum hold time.
3. Analytics, diagnostics and app integrity
Planka uses Firebase Analytics to understand how app features are used, Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and stability problems, and Firebase App Check with Play Integrity to help protect backend resources from abuse. These services may process app/device identifiers, app version, device and operating-system information, event information, diagnostics, crash logs and integrity signals. We do not use these services to obtain your contacts, precise location or personal photos.
4. Advertising and consent
Planka uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for banner and rewarded advertising and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for privacy/consent choices where required. Google advertising services may process IP address, advertising or app/device identifiers, consent choices, ad interactions, diagnostics and related technical information for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and compliance. You may be offered a rewarded ad that temporarily disables banner advertising. Planka also supports a one-time purchase to remove advertising.
5. Purchases
Planka uses Google Play Billing for the “remove ads” purchase. Google Play processes the payment and payment-method information. Planka receives purchase status and the information required to acknowledge and restore the purchase; Planka does not receive your full card or bank-account details.
6. Feedback
If you choose to send feedback from inside Planka, the feedback message and technical context such as app/package version, locale, Android version and device manufacturer/model are sent to Formspree so the developer can receive and review the message. The production version is intended not to attach your Google profile name or email address to this feedback automatically. Please do not include information in the feedback text that you do not want the developer to receive.
7. Reminders and permissions
Notification permission is used only to provide reminders that you enable. Vibration is used for workout interval feedback. Internet access is used for sign-in, synchronization, advertising, consent, feedback, diagnostics and purchases. Planka does not request access to contacts, precise location, microphone, camera or your personal photo library.
8. How information is shared
Information is shared only as needed to operate the features described above with service providers such as Google/Firebase (authentication, cloud storage, analytics, crash reporting, app integrity, advertising, consent and billing) and Formspree (feedback delivery). These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.
9. Security
Planka stores local information in the app's private Android storage, which is protected by the Android application sandbox under normal operating-system conditions. Network requests to Firebase, Google services and Formspree use HTTPS/TLS. No method of storage or transmission is completely risk-free, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
10. Retention and deletion
Local workout information remains on your device until you clear Planka's app data or uninstall the app; Android backup/device-transfer features may retain or restore data according to your Android/Google backup settings. Cloud-synchronized Planka account data is retained while your account exists and is deleted when your Planka cloud account is deleted, subject to limited provider backups/logs and legal or security retention where applicable. Feedback and technical support information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to review the request, improve the app, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations, and may be deleted on request when it can reasonably be identified. Aggregated or de-identified analytics may remain because it is not reasonably linked back to your Planka account.
11. Account deletion and your choices
You can use Planka without signing in, disable reminders, voice and vibration, change privacy choices where available, sign out, or delete your Planka account and synchronized cloud data from the Profile screen. A web-based deletion pathway is also available at Account deletion. Deleting a Planka cloud account does not automatically erase local workout data from your device; clear app data or uninstall Planka if you also want to remove local data.
12. Age and health disclaimer
Planka is intended for users aged 18 and older. It is intended for general fitness, is not a medical device, and does not provide medical diagnosis or medical advice.
13. International processing
Google/Firebase, Google advertising services and Formspree may process information on servers located in countries other than your own. Where required, service providers use legal mechanisms intended to protect international transfers.
14. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy when Planka, its service providers or legal requirements change. The current version will be published at this URL. For privacy questions, access requests or deletion requests, contact anber.softwere@gmail.com.
